With care for people and the environment

Our production of Summerville textile products takes place in India. We have had our production in the same location since year 2012. Long-term relationships are prerequisite to be able to guarantee that our high demands on quality and certification are met, at every stage, for every product.

The complete production process is certified according to GOTS high standards. That involve not only the organic parameters but also ethical, working and social criterias.

Conditions

GOTS-label demand for example:
• Employment is freely chosen
• Freedom of association and collective bargaining
• Child labour is not to be used
• No discrimination is practised
• Occupational health and safety
• No harassment and violence
• Remuneration and assessment of living wage gap
• Working time regulations

Full insight

These things are not to take for granted everywhere. Therefor we have chosen to work with GOTS-certified producers where we have full insight into the entire production process. Where we are welcome to visit at any time and where an external certification organisation inspects and certify all stages of the production process on a regular basis.
